Official 2027 Letter
New distances, more room, the same mountain as always.
Destroyer moves — to join its big sister.
Starting this edition, Destroyer leaves Sierra Blanca Trail to join Marbella Epic Trail — and honestly, that's exactly where it belongs. MET's 65km ultra is known for feeling like a 100km race, with the highest elevation gain of any race in Spain. Destroyer fits right in there, because this isn't a race for beginners.
Rompepiernas: shorter, more intense, still Sierra Blanca.
The original 30km Rompepiernas has been trimmed to match the spirit of a true popular race — now just above half-marathon distance. Still tough, still taking you up to Cruz de Juanar, the same legendary spot as always — but with a renewed course, a new essence, and new aid stations along the way.
Trampantojo: same course, a new way to run it together.
Trampantojo keeps its usual course this year, with renewed aid stations. What's new: we've added a mixed-team category, because this distance was always meant to be run alongside someone, not just against the clock.
More room for everyone — especially for Senderismo.
Moving Destroyer freed up space, and we're putting it to good use: more spots for existing distances, and a bigger push for Senderismo, which has seen its entries grow faster than ever. More people on the mountain, as it should be.
